Baltimore County Executive James J. Smith, Jr. and County
Councilman Kamenetz attend the Ground Breaking Ceremony for
the Pikesville Police Station designed by Sanders Designs.

County Executive James J. Smith, Jr. joins James H. Fish,
Baltimore County Public Library Director, for the Ground Breaking
Ceremony for the Woodlawn Library. "When finished in October
2005, we will have a renovated and enlarged 22,720 square
foot modern facility."
AWARDS
Sanders Designs receives First Place Award from the
Modular Building Institute of America for the design of Wilmot
Modular's Headquarters.
Sanders Designs and Wilmot Modular receive First Place
Award from the Modular Building Institute for the design
of the Edward Jones new company office in Virginia.
Ben Bates of Sanders Designs receives the Architectural/Construction
Award from the Baltimore County Commission on Disabilities
for the architect on the forefront of designing accessible
facilities. Nominated by Richard Calkins, Manager of Baltimore
County's ADA Transition Plan, who states, "Ben helped us complete
a very successful project for the Rosedale Library in spite
of the difficulties presented by an older building within
an unusual floor plan. His skills, knowledge and dedication
to qualify within a limited budget ensured that this aging
facility was transformed into a truly accessible resource
for the disabled community in Eastern Baltimore County."
The New Multi-Purpose Facility for St. Patrick's Catholic
Church located in Havre de Grace, Maryland is nominated by
the Masonry Institute for both Design and Craftmanship
Awards!
The Building Congress and Exhange awards Sanders Designs the
Craftmanship Award for the design of Boys' Latin School
of the Maryland's new gymnasium.
